Back at work and rainy London

I've been back from Australia now for just over a week and it feels like a lifetime ago that I was there. :-( Missing the heat, the sunshine and above all waking up knowing that the day will be good! (not forgetting my WestSide buddies!!) Even though I was over there working it still felt like a holiday, purely due to the weather and being summer and all that.. So miserable being back in snowy/rainy London. (It actually snowed for a few hours this morning..) And don't get me started on the jetlag I had. I've never been so messed up I don't think, even when going to Vietnam and falling asleep at 16.00 on Christmas Eve after struggling to stay awake. This time it was just sleep filled days and sleepless nights - this lasted about a week. I mean I'd sleep all day falling in and out of consciouness and then waking up before mid night just in time for all that great 'night time telly'. I think I finally got over it last weekend fully and now am back to normal suffering when the alarm goes off at 06.40am. Last week I would have been begging for that feeling but now I'm in two minds about it again.. Ha-Ha. Never happy right?
